City Point church held a soccer tournament for the community at Rhodes Park on the 10th Nov 2019. The tournament was attended by youth mostly high school age, in an around Kensington as well as other surrounding suburbs. Church leaders including Ps Vincent and Lorraine attended as well as members of the church to support their team. The tournament had about 6 teams participating and the City point team comprised church youth as well as several community members. The purpose of the tournament was to bring the community together and engage with church members in laid back atmosphere and also have some fun.

City Point church played four matches on the day. The first two matches City Point lost, the third match City Point won which allowed the team to go the final.

The final match City Point won 2-1 with a last minute penalty . A big thank you to our team Captain Melusi Kwenda who also coached the team in the weeks prior.
