Welcome to Urban Youth, City Point’s Youth Ministry, it is more than just a program – it’s a community of young people who have come together to know God personally, discover their purpose, and make a difference in the world.
What to expect
When one joins Urban Youth, they are often unsure of what to expect. They come from all walks of life, with different backgrounds and experiences. But as they begin to participate in life groups, cherish & courage, and weekend activities at church, they start to see that they are not alone. They find friendship and support in their peers, and they begin to understand the love of God in a deeper way.

Growth
The mission of Urban Youth is to “Love God, Build Youth,” and the Urban Youth program is a perfect example of this in action. By providing a safe and supportive environment for our youth to grow in their faith, we are helping them to become the best versions of themselves.
A sense of community
As they grow in their faith, our youth have begun to discover their purpose. They start to see how their unique talents and passions can be used to make a difference in the world. They learn that they are valuable and have something to offer, and they start to take ownership of their faith and their future. They have seen the impact they can make when they use their gifts to serve others, such as by being involved in community outreaches thus making a real difference in the world.
